Galveston
Well I got home a few weeks ago, but its taken me this long to blog about my week in Texas. We just finished up hosting the largest Coking & CatCracking Safety Seminar in our history. What and accomplishment after a few down years. We had over 360 people in attendance.
This looks to be a very promising year!
This is the view from our pool side suite we spent much of our down time in.....
My job is the Event Director....This is a visual of what I do. I arrange with the hotel all details around food, beverage, set up of rooms, equipment in rooms and so on. I also coordinate with the exhibitors and get this set up. Its fun but a ton of work. This was our largest show yet and I had 50 exhibitors set up in the hall, including one 50' trailer driven in with a semi, one 35' trailer and several VERY large valves.
My girls! Jane, my mom and I enjoying an evening paddle boat ride and dinner.
I finally got my crawfish fix!!! I got totally hooked last year and have been craving it since....
My mama and I....we are a couple cheese balls and have an awful lot of fun together!!!
This looks to be a very promising year!

Easter, family runion, the beach!
What a great weekend we had at the Lummi beach house! I know this post is several weeks old now, but I forgot to download all the pictures off of my folks computer before we left so I was waiting till I got them before updating.
My little brother, his wife and daughter had come up for his pre-deployment leave ( they live in Kansas, he is in the Army), my other brother graced us with his presents from Crystal Mountain and we journeyed up from OR. It was a whirlwind weekend but well worth the family time we did get!
My adorable little crew! They love going to the beach house so much!
The family....What a bunch of crazies! Now you see we all come by it naturally!
Lucy and Isis reading some books and watching a movie. She is such a little sweetie! And boy does Lucy love her!
The 3 stooges...Trying to get us all to look half way decent for a photo is next to impossible, so why even try....The boys kept coming up with expression ideas...I think they are pondering a deep thought, or gazing into the future here. I on the other hand just keep smiling at the camera...Its hard to believe I am the oldest....they passed my up long ago.
Easter egg hunting.
A nice soak in the hot tub....awwww so wonderful!
Lucy was loving the fact that she can carry Isis around....I dont think Isis minds to much either!
The egg dying operation. They really got creative this year using rubber bands to make the eggs striped. Very cool!
Bob and I getting ready for a nice run on the island, I think this is my favorite place to run.
And he is my favorite running partner.
My Big Bear and I at the beach. Love this guy so much!
Coloring the eggs before dying them.
My cute little niece! Isis Moon!!!
Caymus and his Tio Reid, he loves that guy so much!!!
Bob and I coming back form beach combing early in the morning.
Bob and I enjoying the beach.
Reid slept on the deck testing out some of his new camping gear, Caymus couldn't wait to go check it out first thing in the AM.
Who would have thought that my mama would be the little one in the family! HA well she is!
I stole Isis and took her to the beach, I dont think she ate to much sand...she sure did have fun!
And our fairwell picture. Bye bye Lummi, we will be back soon!!!
