Since we were snowed in on Thursday (3 inches that melted by noon). I decided what better to do with our time then CRAFT!!! Oh yes, we love to craft!
Here is an apron that I made for a custom order. Turned out pretty cute. I did not make it on Thursday, but found the pic on my camera and thought what the heck, I'll blog it!

I had bought some canvas on one of my craft store outings just for a day like this! The kids really enjoy painting and it makes for great art for their rooms.
Caymus decided to paint some long neck dinos. He did the one on the left first. Really cute job! Little did I know he actually made them to match up and go together! So creative!!!

Lucy had bought her canvas from the school store. It came with a little easel to set it up for display. She used it to hold her canvas while she painted and is now saving it for future painting. Its hard to tell from the picture, but this canvas is about 5"x7" and now hanging on her bedroom wall. She is really into quotes (as am I). And has been finding them and pinning them to my Pintrest wall.

I had mentioned in my last post about Moms Craft Night Out. I will explain further now...My friend and co-PTC mom and I put together a craft night for moms as a fundraiser for our school (we need paper and ink and the school has put in a freeze on all purchases). So we made soup, salad, bread sticks and dessert, set up tables, provided child care and a crafting we went! 5 hours of un-interupted crafting time. And others to share with! Most of the ladies are scrapbookers (I borrowed their tools!), one worked on some really cool clay sculpture, one painted, one worked on her lesson plans, and I made cards. I don't scrapbook, I know that if I started I would want to start at the beginning of the kids lives and well, that was a long time ago now and I would never be caught up. So prior to the craft night I gathered my supplies, bought some paper and stamps, and a tote to carry it all in. I ended up using some paper punches and stocked up quite a bit. Then I produced 24 cards! I impressed my self!!

| I wanted a signature stamp, or some way of marking them showing that they were home made, so I made myself a "M" stamp from a cork. |

And here is what I made on our snow day! I saw this quote and loved it! So now I have a custom canvas with a quote I love hanging on my living room wall!
Happy Crafting!!!
