We took the big journey up to Lummi Island for the Christmas holidays. After a long long drive, we did make it there on Thursday late afternoon....as we were pulling in the driveway, mom and dad were scrambling to move the kitchen table, tear down plastic and vacuum. Needless to say their remodel is not complete!!! We made it work for us though.....we helped make beds and move boxes, the kids dusted, I vacuumed and we got the place looking like Christmas! We did have to use the bathroom sink to do dishes and cooked using the microwave, crock pot and BBQ grill. It was a "camping" Christmas!
