This weekend marked my first ever Warrior Dash.....if you have never heard of this event I would recommend looking it up on line. Its a 3.18 hellish mile course with 14 obstacles. The obstacles include trudging over logs in water up to your neck, crawling over mesh netting, climbing over wrecked cars, running through hanging tires and running over tires on the ground, climbing over many walls, sliding down fireman poles, crawling under barbed wire, leaping over fire and crawling through mud. All of this and hills in between every obstacle. It was hard.
Bob and I headed out Friday night to our camp and met up with some friends of mine from Wrestling.
We spent Saturday morning prepping physically and mentally. Lets also keep in mind that this was the hottest weekend of the summer reaching about 100 deg.
Moms Locked and Loaded was our theme and away we went! Camo paint and all!

My support! Bob was a great boyfriend and took care of Moka, took photos and waited for me at the finish line! He did say that he is all in for next years Dash!!!

Taking off at the starting gate! This is a huge 2 day event with Waves running every 30 min from 9am-6pm. Each wave can have up to 450 people. I think Saturday there were about 5400 people that ran.

I felt like I could do anything after that run! Wow what an awesome experience! I LOVED it! Had that same smile on my face the whole time!!!
